Sha'Dare Lang

Director of Experience

Sha’Dare Lang, a San Diego native, brings 19 years of elite volleyball experience as a player and coach. A former No 5. National recruit (PrepVolleyball.com) she played at the University of Texas, leading the Longhorns to the 2012 NCAA National Championship as team captain and earning multiple honors, including All-Big 12 1st Team and NCAA All-Tournament Team. She also represented the U.S on the Junior National Team(2009) and U23 World Championship Team coached by Karch Kiraly(2013). 

After a pro career in Italy, Azerbaijan, and Turkey (cut short by injury) Lang transitioned to holding roles at Wake Forest University (Volunteer Assistant), Texas Christian University (Director of Operations/Beach Assistant), and Arizona State University (Director of Operations). 

In 2021 Lang had another opportunity to play professionally in the United States pro league Athletes Unlimited. 

Most recently, she served as a volleyball club director in Illinois before returning to Arizona as Director of Experience/Volleyball Liaison. 

Beyond the court, Sha’Dare cherishes time with her husband and their two-year-old daughter, eagerly anticipating the arrival of their baby boy this July.
